Greetings in the Name of Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!
We declare that it is a blessing to live in the prophecy of God. There is no greater calling in life than walking in His divine plan. Acts 2:39 reminds us: “For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call.”
With this truth in mind, we must recognize that what truly matters is what God says. Every goal, challenge, and obstacle we face should be centered on His Word. The greatest challenge Christians face today is not the enemy but rather the question: Are we fully resolved to believe what God is saying in His Word and through His Spirit?
This journey becomes exciting when we understand that if God says it, it is settled—on earth as it is in Heaven. Staying within the boundaries of what God has spoken leads to a life destined for success according to His purpose.
At Bethlehem Baptist Church, we wholeheartedly believe this truth and strive to live by it. Lamentations 3:22-23 reassures us: “Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.”
We stand on the cusp of a divine shift in this season of God. These shifts are something we should all desire because when God moves, authority and territory change. The more authority we give to God in our lives, the more useful we become in showing love to Him, ourselves, our families, our church, and our community.
God’s shifts empower us to:
- Slay giants!
- Resist the adversary!
- Bloom in due season!
1 Peter 5:6-7 instructs us: “Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.”
We serve a God who is just, forgiving, and willing to exalt us beyond what we could ask or imagine. Through Jesus Christ, this promise endures for all generations forever.
Lastly, remember that grace is given to each of us according to the measure of Christ’s gift. No one is excluded—Jesus died for all. Therefore, let us live for Him.
We invite you to join us in this environment of faith, as we heed the Apostle Paul’s words in Philippians 2:12: “Work out your own salvation.” Together, let us exercise our faith, develop our gifts, learn, grow, and glorify God in the name of our risen Savior, Jesus Christ.
God bless you,
Pastor O’Tis and Lady Debra Prioleau
