O’Tis C. Prioleau

Pastor Otis C. Prioleau

Pastor Otis C. Prioleau was born and raised in Alvin, South Carolina, to the late Elijah and Geneva Prioleau. At the age of 12, he boldly stepped forward, acknowledged Jesus Christ as his personal Savior, and began his journey of faith.

After graduating from Macedonia High School in Macedonia, South Carolina, Pastor Prioleau earned a football scholarship and continued his education at Johnson C. Smith University in Charlotte, North Carolina. He completed his studies with a Bachelor of Science degree in Banking and Finance, with a minor in Management. Even then, God was molding him for a greater purpose.

During his time at Johnson C. Smith University, he met his future wife, Miss Debra Webster. The two were united in holy matrimony in 1993, marking the beginning of a divinely ordained partnership. That same year, they welcomed their first child, O’Sheyree.

In 1995, the Prioleau family joined Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Harrisburg, North Carolina. Their family grew with the births of O’Bryaan in 1997 and twins O’Tia and O’Dhori in 1998.

Pastor Prioleau and Family

Pastor Prioleau was ordained as a Deacon at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church in 1999, where he faithfully served as a Bible study teacher for the Victorious Men’s Ministry, president of the Victorious Men’s Choir, and co-chair of the Marriage Ministry alongside Sister Debra Prioleau. This season of service became what he calls his “foundation work,” preparing him for God’s calling.

In 2007, the family returned to Alvin, South Carolina, where Pastor Prioleau rejoined his home church, Bethlehem Baptist Church. He continued serving as a Deacon until October 2008, when he accepted his call into the ministry as an associate minister. God’s plan was unfolding.

In April 2012, Pastor Prioleau was divinely called to serve as Pastor of Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church in Salters, South Carolina, where he faithfully led until May 2024.

Following God’s direction, Pastor Prioleau returned to his roots in February 2024, becoming the Pastor of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Alvin, South Carolina, fulfilling God’s prophetic plan for his life.

Guided by a God-given vision, Pastor Prioleau remains dedicated to:
  • Seeing what God says.
  • Doing what God desires.
  • Stirring up spiritual gifts through the power of the Holy Spirit.
  • Remaining a “clay church,” always ready for divine adjustments, with the Bible as the ultimate guide.

As Joshua 21:45 reminds us: “Not a word failed of any good thing which the Lord had spoken to the house of Israel. All came to pass.”

Hallelujah! The highest praise to God!

God bless you, Pastor Prioleau!
